I wanted to share that I’ve partnered again with Leading Edge Promo on two more campaigns! If you follow me on social media you would have already seen my post about MMIWG2+/ Red Dress Day which is coming up on May 5th, 2022. We want to bring more awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2-Spirit people with a portion of the proceeds (example: $5.00 from each T-shirt) being donated to the Native Women’s Association of Canada.

I am really proud of this design, it is my take on the red handprint, a symbol for MMIWG2S+. Within the handprint is a human face; the face could be anyone, crying for their grandmothers, mothers, sisters, daughters, nieces, their family who have gone missing, who have been murdered, who are not forgotten, who need justice. If you’re interested in supporting the campaign please check it out here.

I’ve also designed the artwork to be used for their 2022 Orange Shirt Day campaign which you can check out here. I chose to illustrate a cub paw within an adult bear paw print as if they are holding hands. This design symbolizes protection, support, and love. $5.00 from each of these Orange Shirts (as well as portions from the other merchandise) goes to programs and organizations designed to help support survivors of Residential Schools and the intergenerational trauma they caused.

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased from either of the campaigns!
