I grew up not knowing a lot about my Nisga’a and Métis heritage and over the last few years I have been exploring that part of myself through many pathways including art. I have been fortunate to have my Indigenous work sold all over the world! I have illustrated this formline design of my four late ferret companions for this drum that my husband and I assembled together at a drum making workshop.”
